Why have we embarked on this project? We believe in investing in the local community, particularly in this economic climate of financial insecurity and job losses. We need to find alternative means of survival and survival can and should be creative.
Sustainable businesses that focus on enabling people to take their well being into their own hands need to be created. Whether it’s getting our food from reasonably priced local organic farmers or growing our own, the community can become healthier in many senses of the word.
Or perhaps you’d like to feed the mind through music, theatre, putting on shows or going back to school to retrain for another leg of a personal journey? We are open to hearing your creative ideas. Instead of seeking prosperity elsewhere, we need to work together to build our options right here at home in our present locale.
