You are eligible to apply if you understand and accept that our joint purpose is to encourage and promote community growth. Priority will be given to clients that are unable to secure loans through conventional sources and agree to commit to regular mentoring sessions.
You must have a connection to the Wolfville and immediate area communities. Please note that this doesn’t necessarily mean you have to work or live here, however, you must have a known positive presence. With that in mind, your personal character will be taken into consideration. A credit check will also be carried-out by the Valley Credit Union as part of our due diligence. Poor or no credit history does not automatically void an application.
